Hi there! Welcome to Bloom & Quill, where my loves of gardening and writing collide. Writing has been a passion of mine since I was a toddler pounding out my "stories" on an old family typewriter, and gardening is something I've grown to love (pun intended) over time. I've created my own extensive gardens from scratch and maintained clients' gardens for years, learning so much along the way.

I started selling my homegrown plants and homemade nature-inspired decor at vendors markets a few years ago and I now sell directly from my home in Durham (West Grey), Ontario, Canada where you can see all of the plants I offer on display in my gardens. I also make gardening content on social media, sharing my insights for everyone from the budding novice gardener to the veteran green thumb.

I've worked for 20 years in marketing communications. Most of that time was spent writing and editing for large organizations with national audiences; more recently, I've been helping small businesses reach their own niche audiences. I've published a book of humorous (depends who you ask) short stories and I'm currently working on my first fiction novel; spoiler alert, it involves gardening.
